So, I figured while I could, I’d get the missing cat replaced on the right side of my car. (It was deleted before I bought it.) If it would allow someone to weld up the exhaust leak that has my CEL continually lit, even better.
The guy replacing the cat says it’s no problem. But upon closer inspection, he points out that the manifold is cracked. He could weld that closed, sure...but recommended just replacing it as a more reliable option. Okay, sure. Let’s go find an exhaust manifold.
Auto Zone: “We can’t get that for you, sorry.”
Pep Boys: “We don’t carry that for your car.”
Napa: “Sorry, we don’t have that.”
Toyota dealership: “We could have that shipped in for you in three days. $632.”
*le sigh*

Try Amazon or Rock Auto.

What vehicle? May be able to pick one up used for a substantially better price, while still getting OE quality.
Edit: Oppo-stalked you, assuming an ‘02 LS430 based off of the beached whale post you made a couple days ago.
Looks like they’re available in my area (mid-Atlantic) used for $75-150.
www.car-part.com
should give a listing in your area.

Never ever look at S600 parts

No dice on either of those. It’s as if Lexus some how ensured that not even aftermarket or generic replacements could be fabricated. -_-

That’s the hybrid LS, yeah? I don’t even wanna think what a battery pack for one of those costs.

That would be an LS600h. The S600 is a Mercedes.
